The Bryant Cabin

It’s 65 degrees here right now and I’m thinking back to two weeks ago when Cheri, Erin, Jeremy, and I were waking up in the loft of a very rustic cabin with outside temps of -10F and the stove long burnt out.  We drove to Vermont for the weekend to do some backcountry skiing and hanging out — got the grand tour of East Wallingford, met Grandpa Seward, crammed in the 60% split of the Subaru’s back seat, and skied into the Bryant Cabin at Bolton Valley for a two-night stay.  Great hosts and we had a superb time!

Of course, we also brought back a gallon of that maple-flavored liquid gold…

There seems to be a pattern forming. I believe this is from the last time I made it on your blog four years ago: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_lmQJszVl20E/R_gIPYamcoI/AAAAAAAAAU8/oRQSPQFpafk/s1600-h/IMG_0167.JPG

Thanks for posting the pics! What a great weekend, minus the -11 temps.
